Starting in 2004, Gwyn and Lori teamed up to work and play as AM radio talk show hosts at a local station deep in the depths of Arenas Valley, New Mexico. One of our mottos was "We'll talk to anybody," and we were touted as producing a very balanced show, which was important to us.
After many adventures in radio (we'll leave it at that) we realized that we worked very well together. A change in ownership at the radio station freed us to start our own company. Between the two of us, we have skills that cover a broad spectrum, including marketing, promotions, advertising, consultation, customer service, writing, photography, graphics, management, public speaking, negotiations, grant writing, non-profit directing, sales, videotaping, editing, on-air performance, production and referral services--to name a few! Hence the birth of Broad Mind Media Inc.
After examining our own experiences and skills, we decided that we would be happiest and best serve our region by showcasing the personalities, events, attractions and history of our part of the world. We moved "The Morning Show," a decades-long tradition in Grant County, to Community Access Television of Silver (CATS) Cable Channel 17 in Silver City where we do the show live Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7 a.m., and rebroadcast at the same time all the other days of the week. From our new beginning in October 2006, the show has also been rebroadcast on KOOT-TV, Local Channel 8, a low-power commercial Silver City station owned by CATS. We're on KOOT at 6:00 a.m. and at 7:00 p.m. seven days a week. To see us on KOOT, you must be in the Silver City area, and have either rabbit ears or a large antenna....and don't forget to program channel 8 into your remote
control--or it will skip over that channel!

In her "spare time," Gwyn hangs out with her husband Quinn, three kids, Adrian, Asa and Owen, two cats, Teami and Scoot, and dog Jax! Lori occupies her "non-working hours" with boyfriend Scott, son Luke, granddog Felony and Boomer the bird!
